Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Obi could be in for another ‘Derby delight’ on Tuesday night as Coach Jose Mourinho has already stated clearly that he would be fielding a strong side in Tuesday’s Capital One clash against the Rams.
Mikel registered a goal against Derby County when he the Blues last filed out against the Championship side and there are indications that the Nigeria international may not just play a part in tonight’s Capital One clash but also enjoy a starting role like he has done in Chelsea’s last three outings.
"We're going to play against a top team in the
Championship," Mourinho told Chelsea TV. "The
difference between a top team in the Championship and the teams of the Premier League are very, very small. We played there last year and it was not an easy game.
"We have no reason to rest people. Everybody goes. The only one that is not going because he played against Sporting (Lisbon) - I never gave him a break - is Cahill. "Cahill doesn't play, I play Zouma. The Blues boss affirmed. It is yet to be seen if Mikel can pull off another surprise by netting a goal against the Rams.
