I found this beneficial to me and am sure am not the only one out there with a cracked lip this season..
here are some tips on how to deal with it to make it less painful and more soothing..
Protecting Lips With Balm
Your lips need a shield to stay in shape. A balm provides a buffer between your delicate skin and the weather or indoor heating, so never let your lips go nude.
Skin heals and feels better when moist so wearing an ointment on your lips is so much better than a waxy sticky treatment.Your goal is to seal in moisture and get beneficial oils on your lips such as castor oil.
You should note that lip balms are super affordable even more than lipsticks its very healthy to keep one in a purse while going around this season.
They are also simple home remedies to a cracked lip, remedies such as;
1.
Sugar
Exfoliating dead cells off your chapped lips will help restore their natural softness faster.
1) Mix two teaspoons of sugar with one teaspoon of honey. Apply the paste to your lips and let it sit for a few minutes.
2) Then use your fingers to gently rub the mixture around on your lips to loosen the dead skin cells.
3) Wash it off with lukewarm water.
2 Honey
Honey is a great moisturizer that also has healing and antibacterial properties to treat chapped lips.
1)Simply apply pure organic honey on your chapped lips several times a day.
2)You can also make a paste of honey and glycerin and apply it before going to bed to enjoy softer lips in the morning.
4. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can help heal chapped lips caused by cold or dry weather. Simply apply pure coconut oil several times a day on your lips to keep them moist. You can also use olive oil.

I hope you all find this piece useful as it was to me,kindly note that licking your lips wont help even though its so much in practice it only makes it worse!
