TRAGEDY- 6 YEARS OLD GIRL BURNT TO DEATH IN BAYELSA

A six year old girl reportedly burnt to death in a christmas eve fire accident in yenogua, Bayelsa state' The two brothers of the deceased also suffered severe burns as a result of the fire and they are currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital' The fire was said to have occured at 9m on xmas eve and the cause of it was traced to the mother of the deceased who was reported to have lit a candle where her three children where sleeping. According to one of the neighbours the fire had already caused harm before it was noticed and it took the bravery of one of the neighbours to get the two children out even though the fire service men arrived on time after the distress call was made. It is indeed a season of joy and peace let us minimise casualties like this by looking out for one another!
