The Chelsea striker was left out of the 23 man list presented by team coach Herve Renard, which will be represneting Ivory Coast at the 2015 African Cup Of Nations at Equatorial Guinnea.

The Ivorian international along side Didier Zakora and Emmanuel Eboue where not listed.Although Didier Drogba has retired from international football, calls were made for his return but after it became obvious that he had no intentions to rescind his decision the Ivorian coach named his 23 man list without him.
