Students of this great institution have been
advised to vacate school on/or before Monday 15th
of December instead of Friday 19th of December as
initially contained the University Calendar.
According to a memo (FUTO/SUG/PRO/NOT/008)
dated 13th of
December, 2014 released by the Students’ Union
Government,the decision was reached at, after
considering the pace and nature of work in different
halls of residence amongst other imbroglio.
This is to enable Management complete the
reconstruction works they are undertaking in hostels
and
classrooms, allow for logistics that will enable
freshmen's clearance at medicals and ensure a
smooth take off of both academic and extracurricular
activities for students at large, amongst other things.
Subsequently, a new date of resumption will be
communicated to students later.
The SUG regrets any inconveniences this may cause
while
thanking students for their usual support and
cooperation.
